Your health is your wealth is a statement I’ve been hearing people say for years. And, after a few health challenges, I totally agree. Juicing fresh vegetables and fruits is a great way to detox your body, lose weight, feel great, and improve your overall health. There are so many benefits to juicing. I did a 28 day juice cleanse and saw weight loss results within the 1st week. You can also do a green juice to make sure you’re getting your veggies in daily…. especially if you’re not a big fan of eating vegetables. The main reason I enjoy juicing so much is to get all the vitamins and nutrients my body need daily. So, I make sure I start my day with a fresh glass of green juice.

There is no right or wrong way to juice. Some people may do a juice cleanse for a certain amount of days (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Some may drink a glass of green juice one time a day along with their meals or as a pre-workout booster. It’s all up to you.

I am totally enjoying the way I feel after including green juice into my daily diet. I am more energized, have mental clarity, and sleep better. I do recommend that you add some kind of physical activity especially if you’re trying to reach a weight loss goal. Dance Fitness is one of my favorites. Just move your body and be active as much as you can. In order to live a healthy life, we must eat right and exercise.

In this post, I share a few juicing recipes and different types of juicers

Here Are A Few Juicing Recipes You Can Make From Home

(Please note, I am not a medical doctor and I am not trying to make any medical claims. I am just sharing my experience with juicing and my weight loss journey. You do not have to use all ingredients. What works for me may not work for you. Please use your own judgement)

Super Green Machine (starter boost going into my 28 day cleanse)

  • Kale (1 whole bunch)
  • Spinach (1 whole bunch)
  • Collard Green Leaves (about 5 large single leaves)
  • Cucumber (2-3)
  • Celery (half bunch)
  • Lemon (2)
  • Green Apples (3)
  • Carrots (4-5)
  • Oranges (2-3 large)
  • Ginger (approx 2-4)
  • Tumeric (approx 2-4)
  • Bell Peppers (green, red, yellow)
  • Strawberries (5-8)

This was breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner (during my 1st 2 weeks of my 28 day cleanse). It made four or five 2-cup mason jars. Decide how many servings you want then measure ingredients as you wish)

Watermelon juice helps to burn calories and hydrates the body.

  • Watermelon

  • Ginger

Fat Burning

  • Ginger

Detox Cleansing

Beets are packed with nutrients, help reduce inflammation, and help keep blood pressure in check.

Tip: A lot of nutrients are in the skin of the fruits and vegetables, so if it’s organic, I suggest that you wash and juice without peeling.

Types Of Juicers

There are so many juicers to choose from -different price ranges. Before I purchased the current juicer I have, I did a lot of research. Got a little confusing for me. What I found is that it all depends on you and your needs. If you are trying to decide on which juicer to purchase, I listed a few below to get you started on your journey.

1. Bextcok

2. Breville Juice Fountain Cold

3. Breville Juice Fountain Compact

4. Hamilton Beach Pro

5. Mueller Austria

6. Nama Juicer
