Your Business, Your Life, Your New Year!

Make 2014 Your Best Year Ever… moving your business forward.

Define What You REALLY Want

What do you REALLY want to create in your business and life? Now is the time to take pen to paper and write out your business goals and a clear plan for 2014. What is your income goal?  What does your ideal day look like as a business owner?  Who are your Ideal clients? …you know, those amazing people you REALLY want to work with. Take the time to write it all down and get clear. Get organized and ready for success.

Make A Decision To Succeed

As a former school teacher turned Online Entrepreneur, I was petrified of the idea of starting my own business. I soon mustered up a ton of confidence that propelled me to move forward. I made the decision several years ago that I wanted to create my own destiny and financial freedom.  I decided who I wanted to be, what I wanted to do, and how I was going to do it.  Because in order to create the business and life you love, you must first make a decision. Bill Cosby said it best, “In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.”

Decide what you want to be, then GO be it.

Find Your Purpose and Passion in Life

We all were created with a purpose and passion built on the inside of us. I find that so many people are not doing the things that they truly love to do. In my opinion, starting a business based on your purpose is the foundation to happiness and success.  So, start and build a business around the things you love.  Profit from your Passion.

Focus, Focus, Focus

Maintaining focus and mental clarity is a job by itself. Especially with all of the distractions all around us on a daily basis. Focus on the most important task of the day and get them done.  Spend your time wisely.  Stay on track and on focus moving forward in 2014.

Do NOT Compare Your Success To Others

Oh my, this is a big one in the online marketing world.  One of the reasons why so many business owners are stuck and overwhelmed is due to comparing themselves to others. I mean, seriously, a person who just started their business yesterday is not going to be on the same level of someone who has been in business for 20 years. There is a learning curve that must first take place. Also, your goals may be totally different than someone else.  That takes us back to Step 1.. “Define what YOU really want”.   Focus on your lane and ride it till the wheels fall off.

Roll Up Your Sleeves & Master Your Craft

When I first got started online, I knew absolutely nothing about the Internet Marketing industry.  I rolled up my sleeves and did what it took to learn new skills and applied the things I learned. I had many sleepless nights reading books, blogs and listened to audio on my career topic. I watched tutorial videos and followed others that are leaders in my industry.  Become a student of your industry.  Learn, Develop and Grow. You got this.

Keep a Positive Attitude

Surely, times may get tough when running your online business, but try to have resilience and bounce back quickly. Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. Surround yourself with positive people that motivates you, inspires you and  increase your energy.  2014 is a great time to detox the drainers from your life.
